South African musician Donald seen working as a petrol attendant – Photos

South African musician Donald recently made headlines after a blog reported that he had abandoned his music career to work as a petrol attendant. However, these reports turned out to be misleading.

Donald clarified the situation on his Instagram, explaining that he had spent a day working as a petrol attendant as a gesture of appreciation for the hard work that attendants do. He shared his experience, saying, “So, on Tuesday I met a guy called SAM who works at Engine Garage Empire Rd, we chatted for a bit and a thought came to my mind, how would it be to be in shoes as a petrol attendant for one day, I asked him and he said YES without any hesitation.” The musician also mentioned that his friend CasswellP joined him during this experience.

He emphasized that this was a one-time event aimed at recognizing the efforts of petrol attendants, who often go unnoticed despite their essential role in the community. Donald praised SAM, the attendant he worked alongside, as an unsung hero working hard to support his family.

Donald’s gesture received mixed reactions from fans and the public, with some appreciating his humility and willingness to engage in different experiences, while others initially misunderstood his intentions. Nevertheless, his clarification on social media cleared up any confusion regarding his career status, reaffirming that he remains dedicated to his music career.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of acknowledging and appreciating everyday workers who contribute to society in various ways, often behind the scenes.
