Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule, beloved Ukhozi FM presenter and influential figure in South Africa’s gospel music scene, will be laid to rest this Saturday, August 17. The funeral service will take place at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Durban, beginning at 9 AM, with her final resting place at Marianhill in Pinetown.
Friends, family, and colleagues will gather to celebrate her life and legacy at a memorial service today at 12 PM, held at the GNF near Durban Station. This service will honor Mbokazi-Nkambule’s contributions to the gospel community and her impact on many lives.
Sbongi Ngcobo, Ukhozi FM’s Business Manager, reflected on her role in the station, stating, “Throughout her tenure, Zanele was an integral part of the Ukhozi FM family, spreading love, hope, and inspiration to countless listeners through her uplifting gospel show. Her passion for sharing the message of faith and her infectious enthusiasm touched hearts and transformed lives.”
