Eskom says power cuts will be lowered to Stage 5 from 5am on Monday.
Stage 4 will be implemented at 5am on Tuesday.
Taking to Instagram to announce the good news Eskom twitted
“#Stage6 #Loadshedding will be reduced to Stage 5 at 05:00 on Monday. Thereafter Stage 4 loadshedding will be implemented at 05:00 on Tuesday for the remainder of the week.”
Eskom will publish a further update as soon as there are any significant changes.
In other news – Three drown at Durban beach
The eThekwini municipality has confirmed the drowning of three people, including a teenager, at Durban’s North Beach on Saturday.
Municipal spokesperson Msawakhe Mayisela, said a team comprising of 35 lifeguards and another team of paramedics had a grim tasks of executing a mass rescue efforts to assist more than 100 people who were involved in the incident. Learn More
