“His Excellency, the President and First Secretary of ZANU (PF), Cde ED Mnangagwa, has conferred Liberation War Hero status to the late Cde Amos Chinyamutangira, who died on the 29th of August 2025. He will be buried at Mutare Provincial Heroes Acre,” the letter stated.
The funeral is scheduled for 2 pm, with national and provincial leaders expected to attend to pay their final respects to the veteran.
