Wife of the late Cephas Motomuzhinji Mashakada has died

Eunice Mashakada, the beloved wife of the late Cephas Motomuzhinji Mashakada, passed away at the age of 63 due to kidney failure at Sally Mugabe Central Hospital on Monday morning. Her departure has left a profound void in the hearts of her family and loved ones.

Zimbabwe’s government is poised to take action against more than 200 non-governmental organizations (NGOs), threatening them with potential bans due to alleged administrative shortcomings. According to authorities, these NGOs have failed to submit required financial and annual reports as mandated under the current Private Voluntary Organisations Act.

The government’s move comes amid efforts to introduce a new bill in Parliament aimed at amending and strengthening the existing PVOs Act.
